Biography:District Councillor for the Avonside ward. Trevor Carbin is originally from Somerset and went to Durham and Leeds Universities. He travelled the world as an archaeologist before settling in West Wiltshire. He is married with three teenage daughters and runs Hilperton Driving School. He was elected to the District Council in 1995 and re-elected in 1999, 2003 and 2007. At various times on the council he's chaired the planning and area committees and held Leisure and Finance portfolios. He also served as county councillor for the old Whorwellsdown division from 2001 to 2005. He belongs to Green Liberal Democrats and outside of politics is a board member of Wiltshire Rural Music School and a member of Southwick Allotments Association.

Biography:Bill Douglas has lived in Chippenham for 25 years. He has been a Chippenham Town Councillor for Park Ward for the past 6 years and is a Member of both the Planning and Strategy and Resources Comittees. Bill is a retired International Training Consultant to the Biscuit Industry. Also working for UNESCO in Africa and other Developing Countries, opening new factories and training local staff in the necessary baking skills. He is a Trustee of the Borough Lands Charity and a Trustee on the board of The Waste Not Want Not Recycling Project Bill also works with the Drugs and Alcohol Strategy Group, on the rehabilitation of drug users, in an effort to reduce the misery, crime and violence that drugs cause in our community. He is a member of the Chippenham Carers Support Group, finding ways to give more support to the Carers and Families of those who are addicts. Bill led the No Deaths on A4 and Hardenhuish Schools Safety Campaigns.

In my spare time I enjoy walking the dog and writing crime dramas.
