Lib Dems Working for Improvements at ‘St Ivel’ Estate

In RWB South FOCUS, Autumn 2018

Your local Lib Dem team have been working hard over the summer to secure improvements at the Beaufort Park 'St Ivel' Estate.

The play area, adopted by Wiltshire Council in 2013, is now in a poor state of repair. After interventions by Cllrs David Bowler and Chris Hurst, Wiltshire Council have now secured S106 funding to make the necessary improvements.

The wall at the back of the play area also needs urgent attention. Stones from the wall are falling on to the path. Your Lib Dem councillors have been demanding action from the developer to make the repairs.

Most of the estate is still under the authority of the developer rather than Wiltshire Council, but by continuing to campaign for improvements it is hoped further progress can be made.
