Message from Jamie Taylor following the backing of Rod Bluh

Jamie TaylorA Message from our Jamie Taylor our candidate for Wroughton and Wichelstowe following the backing of Rod Bluh:

Hello, I'm Jamie Taylor I grew up and went to school in Wroughton.

I share the Lib Dems commitment to listening to residents, working together to find practical solutions and being positive force for our village.

I hate that current politicians put party before country and just shout abuse at each other. There is too much of that nationally right now and it is also going on locally.

Sadly this is something we have even seen in our village with our MP Robert Buckland not backing the Wroughton Neighbourhood Plan. Which was given the go ahead by 87% in a referendum in 2016, but sadly Robert and the Conservatives party have not respected the will of the people.

I will work pragmatic with anyone who has the desire to improve our community and does the best for our village. I will ensure that I don't judge someone by the colour of their rosette but instead by the content of their character.

With this I am proud to have the following endorsement from Rod Bluh, leader of Swindon Borough Council from 2006 - 2013:

Rod Bluh"I have known Jamie Taylor for many years since he was a teenager. He grew up in Wroughton and is now committed to serving the local community. His interest in and commitment to public service is rare in one so young. I have no hesitation in asking you to support Jamie on the 2nd of May. I think he will make an excellent Councillor."

If you vote Lib Dem this time in Wroughton you will get me, a local person raised and educated here. A person who is proud of our village and will fight to keep it a village and stop us from being swallowed by Swindon.

You will also have a councillor who will work, listen to you and make sure your concerns are heard and acted on where it counts.
