Katie said, "I'm so excited to be picked to run in Swindon. It's a great place with so much potential to be a future hub for the new green economy building on its history and status in the transportation / automotive sector. With the upcoming exit of Honda from Swindon its vital to redouble efforts to replace those jobs with new, high quality jobs for local people."

She added, "My own expertise in the retail, electric vehicle and start-up sectors will help me make change possible for the people of Swindon."
